This WebCD delivers valuable information in a whole new way, by combining content from the World Wide Web with the speed of CD-ROM. It's a Web site on a disc, so you can surf without the wait. Plus, if you have Internet access, you can click from a page on the CD to the dynamic, World-Wide-Web, giving you the best of both worlds.

To navigate you'll use the browser and your mouse to click from place to place. The publisher of this WebCD created a list of bookmarks, which provides shortcuts to important documents, applications or live-links to a site on the Internet. If you have Internet access, click on the Globe icon to connect to the live Web site, see new information and interact with the Internet. When you want to return to the home page of this WebCD, click on the home button and you're back where you started.

WebCD also provides a text search feature, so you can locate information faster. You can move forward or back through the list of relevant documents using the NEXT and PREVIOUS icons.

You may move the WebCD Bookmark window by dragging the Title bar or simply click on the window shade button to roll it up and out of sight. For a reminder of what each button does, simply move your cursor over the button or click on the question mark to see on-line help.
